Dan is a lifelong resident of Dayton. He got into the insurance business at the age of 21 and has loved interacting with his clients and community ever since. He is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher. He started a 501C3 non profit called Spectrum new Beginnings that provides free yoga and mindfulness meditation to war veterans suffering from PTSD, and at risk youth. Along with church, family, friends and clients yoga and meditation was instrumental in helping him deal with the loss of his wife, so he wants to give back to his community.
Chris grew up in Walton Hills, Oh a suburb of Cleveland, with his seven siblings. Following his siblings he attend the University of Dayton where he met his wife his junior year. He graduated in 1988 and got married soon after. He has two kids in college and one in elementary school. His first job after college was with Bankers Life and Casualty where he met his partner Dan Loofboro. After only 11 months they left to pursue their own agency, Spectrum Insurance Agency.
Business Insurance Specialist
I am a lifelong resident of the Dayton area. I graduated from Denison University. Licensed since 1989 to sell Life, Auto, Home, Umbrella, and Business Insurance. I specialize in Business Insurance. I love working with business owners and helping them organize and protect their organization.
Attended Carroll High School in Dayton and I also attended Sinclair Community College for various business classes. I am married to my wonderful husband Erik, we live in Dayton and attend St. Helen Catholic Church. I started here at Spectrum in April 2008 at the age of 18, doing filing and other various office duties. Later in 2008, I passed my insurance agent test and received my property and casualty insurance license. Spectrum Insurance is a great place to work and I enjoy helping/servicing our customers the best that I can.
Grew up in Kettering through part of Junior High then I moved around quite a bit switching several schools until Junior year where I stayed at Middletown High until I graduated. I have worked in the service industry since I was 15 years old doing a little bit of everything. I have two beautiful children and am happy to be back in my hometown and working for a great company.
Customer Service and Operations
Grew up not too far away in Beavercreek, Ohio and attended Beavercreek High School, where I graduated in 1978. I went on to Sinclair Community College while working full time, where I graduated with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration in 1989 shortly before my first child was born. I live in Beavercreek, Ohio with my husband Chris. We have 2 children, Emily who works here at the agency with me, and Tyler, my son is entering his sophomore year at the University of Cincinnati. I began my insurance career in 1992 with Klum Insurance Agency, who then merged with Spectrum Insurance in 2001. Spectrum Insurance is a great company to work for and I take pride in the customer service values that are the cornerstone of our business.
Lived a couple different places growing up with a father in the military. We finally settled in Kettering Ohio 20 years ago where I went to school and graduated. I am married to a wonderful man and have two beautiful girls. I have worked a Spectrum for 5 years and really enjoy helping our customers the best way I can. I look forward to working here for many years to come.
